Launched in 1997 and named after Alejandro Robaina (1919–2010), the legendary grower of San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo — at launch, the only Habanos brand named after a living person. The family has farmed Cuchillas de Barbacoa since 1845.
Medium to full; the Famosos robusto is the favourite.
